Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, who is participating in the Munich Security Conference, spoke about the meetings being held on the sidelines of the forum.
In a statement to RTK, Maqedonci said that today they met with the executive director of Mercedes-Benz responsible for the company’s tactical military vehicle division.
He confirmed that last year Kosovo signed a three-year contract with the company for the supply of tactical military vehicles.
“We held a meeting today with the executive director of Mercedes, specifically the division that produces tactical military vehicles. Last year, we concluded a three-year contract for the supply of tactical vehicles from Mercedes — military tactical vehicles that are among the most recognized in the inventories of armed forces worldwide,” Maqedonci stated.
The meeting took place as part of Kosovo’s participation in the Munich Security Conference, one of the most significant global forums addressing security and defense issues.
