FAZ journalist Michael Martens recently spent several days in Prishtina, where he moderated a discussion featuring the German envoy for the region, Manuel Sarrazin. The event included tense discussions about the Berlin Process and the issue of the Association of Serbian Majority Municipalities.

In a post on “X,” Martens shared his impressions from his stay in Kosovo, stating that “currently, Kosovo cannot trust Germany, France, and the EU.”

The German journalist emphasized that the efforts of Berlin, Paris, and Brussels to push forward an “absurd agreement” are bound to fail.

“Their quasi-colonial arrogance in attempting to impose an absurd agreement, the validity of which is openly denied by Serbia, will fail,” Martens wrote.\
