Tens of thousands of Israelis filled the streets of Tel Aviv on Sunday, demanding that their government reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza to ensure the release of hostages held by Hamas.

Chanting “Bring them all back, stop the war,” demonstrators staged one of the largest solidarity rallies in Israel since the start of the Gaza war, international media report.

Families of hostages, who have been waiting for over two years, urged authorities to secure the return of their loved ones. The Hostages’ Families Forum, which organized the rally, estimated the turnout at nearly 500,000 people.

“We demand a comprehensive and achievable agreement, as well as an end to the war. We are asking for what is rightfully ours – our children,” said Einav Zangauker, mother of one of the hostages.
