Mass Shooting in Baltimore Leaves Six Injured, Including a 5-Year-Old Girl

On the evening of Saturday, August 9, 2025, around 9:00 PM local time, a mass shooting incident occurred in a residential area of Baltimore, resulting in six people injured, including a young child, according to local police.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley addressed the media in an emergency press conference, revealing that the victims were gathered outside their home sharing a meal when an unknown assailant suddenly opened fire.

Among the injured is a 5-year-old girl shot in the arm, but her injury is not life-threatening. A 38-year-old man sustained the most severe injuries and is currently in critical condition. The other victims include a 23-year-old woman and three men aged 32, 33, and 52.

Commissioner Worley stated:
“At this moment, we have very limited information. We only know that multiple shots were fired and that there are several victims.”

Authorities continue their investigation to identify the shooter and determine the motive behind this violent act.
