Four people have lost their lives and 21 others have been injured following a massive drone attack in the center of the Ukrainian city of Dnipro.
The head of Dnipro, Serhiy Lysak, reported that a complex and several residential buildings were destroyed as a result of the attack, adding that “the enemy sent over 20 drones” to the city.
During the night, sirens were sounded in several regions of Ukraine, including the capital, and it is still unknown whether there have been other attacks, according to BBC.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that three Ukrainian drones were intercepted and downed in the Belgorod region.
In a video on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure — an act that violates a temporary memorandum signed earlier this month.
Moscow has also repeatedly accused Ukraine of attacks on Russia’s energy sector.
