A large fire broke out at the “Hydromash” factory in the occupied city of Melitopol, causing thick smoke and flames visible throughout the surrounding area.

Footage and eyewitness reports from the scene reveal an extraordinary blaze that engulfed a significant part of the industrial facility.

According to local sources and Ukrainian media reports, after the city was occupied by Russian forces, the “Hydromash” industrial complex was converted into an improvised military base.

This factory, which previously produced hydraulic equipment and other technical components, is said to have been used by the Russian military for storing weaponry and military logistics.

The fire started late at night, and its rapid spread has raised concerns about the risk of possible explosions, especially if ammunition or fuel is stored inside the building. There has been no official response from the Russian side regarding the cause of the fire or the full extent of the damage.

Ukrainian authorities have not ruled out the possibility that the incident was a result of a deliberate operation or sabotage. However, so far, the exact cause of the fire remains unclear and has not been confirmed by independent sources.

This event comes at a time when tensions remain high in the occupied regions, and such incidents are increasingly linked to military activities and clashes in the rear areas.
