The Ukrainian power grid has experienced major outages due to a “technical fault” that disrupted electricity lines between Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine, Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal reported.
The outages have mainly affected Kyiv and the surrounding region, causing disruptions to electricity, heating, and water supply.
The Ministry of Energy confirmed that the emergency situation is not related to cyberattacks. Restoration work is ongoing.
