Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has said that two or three countries of the European Union have requested the gradual removal of the measures that are imposed against Kosovo.
“We hope that no country will raise its voice to oppose the measures, for the reason that there has not been any country that is against the lifting of the measures. There have been two or three countries that have preferred the gradual lifting of the measures in two steps, but not that there have been those who have been against the lifting of the measures, but the absolute majority of countries believe that the imposition of measures on Kosovo has been unfair , not taking measures against Serbia was the additional injustice done to Kosovo”, said Bislimi today.
He said that there are states within the Union that favor Serbia’s demands because they want to withdraw it from the West.
“There are different interests of the member countries, not all of them advance the interests of the EU or even Kosovo, but there are also those that favor some of Serbia’s demands since they believe that in this way they can pull Serbia towards the west. But this is not our mission. We are happy every time Serbia makes decisions that lead it towards the West, but it is not our mission to do this”, he said.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
