A crucial meeting between political party leaders and caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti has commenced, aiming to find a solution for the constitution of the ninth legislature of the Kosovo Assembly.
Participants in the meeting include:
- Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Guxo, and Alternativa: Albin Kurti, Faton Peci, Mimoza Kusari
- Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK): Chairman Memli Krasniqi and Vlora Çitaku
- Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK): Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku and Deputy Hykmete Bajrami
- Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK): Deputy Time Kadrijaj
- NISMA Social Democratic: Chairman Fatmir Limaj
Representatives from minority parties, including Lista Serbe, are also attending the meeting. A press conference is expected to be held after the discussions conclude.
The meeting follows the Constitutional Court’s decision on Thursday, which ruled that the constitutive session of the ninth legislature of the Kosovo Assembly must be finalized within 30 days.
