One of Kosovo’s most seasoned media professionals and former General Director of the public broadcaster RTK, Mentor Shala, has been officially appointed as the Executive Director of DTV Media.
The announcement was made by the company’s majority shareholder, Ramiz Vitia, who emphasized that Shala’s extensive experience in managing both public and private media institutions represents a major asset to DTV Media’s vision of digital transformation and international expansion.
“In these challenging times for the media industry, we need bold leadership and a clear vision. Mentor Shala brings not only experience, but also proven credibility and professionalism,” said the company in its official statement.
Shala expressed gratitude for the appointment, stating:
“I am honored to join DTV Media at a key moment in its development. I will be fully committed to strengthening the network’s position in the market, improving content quality, and expanding its reach both at home and abroad.”
DTV Media is currently one of the most-watched television networks in Kosovo and is preparing to launch several new digital and broadcast projects, with a stronger focus on reaching audiences in the diaspora.
