Izet Mexhiti has declared victory in the municipality of Çair, expressing gratitude to all citizens and activists for their support. Mexhiti stated that this election marked a victory for Albanians, while also signaling the retirement of an entire political class.
He called for the resignation of Ali Ahmeti, adding an ironic note by congratulating him “for his victory in Pllasnicë.”
“In Çair, all Albanians won, and a political class was retired. Tonight, with a heart full of pride and gratitude, I want to say loudly and clearly: tonight the Albanians have won, and tonight a political class has retired. Congratulations on the victory, and congratulations on the retirement to our political opponents,” said Izet Mexhiti.
