The next protest in support of Kosovo Liberation veterans currently held in pre-trial detention in The Hague is reported to take place on December 13 in Skopje, as announced by Ali Ahmeti, leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI).

In response, North Macedonia’s opposition leader, Hristijan Mickoski, stated that he does not support the march.

“With this protest, they are trying to mobilize support ahead of the party congress. By doing this, they are only confirming that it will be very difficult for them to find coalition partners in the future. I do not support this idea, nor do I agree with this march. I am confident that VLEN will not support it either,” Mickoski said.

Following this, the Organization of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OLV-UÇK) has called a press conference for tomorrow at 10:00 AM.
