Renowned Kosovar microbiologist Lul Raka has announced he is currently in Ukraine on a mission organized by Columbia University in New York to support the country’s healthcare system.
Raka stated that the mission aims to strengthen the capacities of Ukraine’s public health system, particularly in critical areas such as infection control.
“At the invitation of Columbia University in New York, I am on a short mission in Ukraine, as part of a project supported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC),” Raka told Kanal10. He reiterated that the project’s goal is to “strengthen the capacities of the public health system in Ukraine.”
