White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz continues to defend former President Trump, stating that he has engaged with European allies, including French President Emmanuel Macron, who is expected to visit the U.S. next week along with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
“We are engaging with all of our European allies, absolutely. The NATO Secretary General and I just spoke,” Waltz said.
He added, “You secure peace through strength.”
Waltz emphasized that the U.S. has urged Europeans to “step up” and “contribute to their own defense.”
