In five rounds of voting, Miljana Nikoliq did not secure enough support to be elected Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly.
She received 9 votes in favor, 29 against, and 39 abstentions.
The same fate has occurred with previous Serb List candidates: Slavko Simiq, Zlatan Elek, Verica Ceraniq, Liljana Stevanoviq, and Stefan Kovaçeviq.
This marks yet another unsuccessful attempt to fill the Deputy Speaker position reserved for the Serb community.
