Minister Maqedonci Meets German Ambassador Rudolph: Focus on Kosovo’s Security and FSK’s Current Capabilities

Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, met with Germany’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, to discuss the current security situation in the country, as well as the operational capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK).

In a statement following the meeting, Minister Maqedonci expressed deep gratitude for Germany’s longstanding support for Kosovo and highlighted the increased presence of German troops within KFOR as a key factor in maintaining regional stability.

“It was a pleasure to host the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph. We discussed the overall security situation, stability, and challenges facing Kosovo and the region during this sensitive period for security,” Maqedonci said.

He added that he briefed the ambassador on FSK’s current capacities, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in the field of defense and security.

“I expressed my appreciation for Germany’s consistent support to the Republic of Kosovo, the enhanced German troop presence within KFOR, and my firm belief that this cooperation with Ambassador Rudolph will continue — further strengthening our defense partnership as two nations sharing common interests,” Maqedonci concluded.
