The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MPB) officially opened the third session of the KosovaPAR2025 International Conference on Public Administration today.

The conference aims to promote the use of technology and artificial intelligence while fostering professional collaboration and experience-sharing in public administration, with a special focus on institutional reform and innovation.

During the opening session, speakers highlighted the importance of an efficient public administration as a cornerstone of democratic governance and as a guarantor of quality services for citizens.

KosovaPAR2025 will continue with thematic discussions and specialized panels, exploring best practices from partner countries and identifying opportunities to advance public policy in Kosovo.

The conference will conclude with concrete recommendations to strengthen institutional capacities and improve public administration in line with European standards.

Participants included state officials, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla, academics, the Rector of the University of Pristina Arben Hajrullahu, domestic and international experts, and representatives of civil society organizations. The session’s main theme was “Capacity in Public Administration for or through AI.”
