A serious criminal case is suspected to have occurred in Ferizaj, where a minor from Fushë Kosova is alleged to have been sexually abused by an individual he met through social media, specifically TikTok.
According to initial information, the minor stated that he became acquainted with an unknown person via TikTok, after which the alleged abuse reportedly took place within the territory of Ferizaj.
Prosecution in Evidence-Gathering Phase
The Basic Prosecution Office in Prishtina has confirmed that the case is currently in the preliminary phase of evidence collection.
“The State Prosecutor has received information regarding this case. At present, it is in the preliminary stage of gathering information and other evidence that will serve for the continuation of investigative procedures,” said Kaltrina Shala, spokesperson for the Prosecution.
She further emphasized that the case falls under juvenile criminal procedure, and therefore all information is treated as confidential.
Police Investigation Underway
The Kosovo Police announced that on December 15, 2025, at around 11:00 a.m., the Fushë Kosova Police Station received information regarding a suspected abuse of a minor.
According to police:
“The suspicions suggest that the minor was contacted through social media, and that the incident is believed to have occurred in Ferizaj. Specialized police investigators, in cooperation with relevant institutions, are undertaking all necessary actions to fully clarify the case.”
With the authorization of the State Prosecutor, and while ensuring full protection and confidentiality of the victim, an investigation has been formally initiated for the criminal offense of ‘Rape’. Authorities are working intensively to identify the suspect and determine their location.
