Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the tragic events in Cetinje today, where a shooter killed multiple people and injured several others, including two children.
In a statement, Milatović conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims, stating, “I am shocked and deeply saddened by this tragedy that has devastated our Cetinje. My sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We pray and hope for the recovery of all the injured. Our thoughts tonight are with the families who have lost their loved ones and with the citizens of Cetinje. The whole of Montenegro feels and shares your pain.”
The police are actively searching for the suspected assailant, A.M., in connection with the killings. the President of Montenegro, has declared three days of national mourning. He also requested the suspension of all New Year’s celebrations in public places in solidarity with the families who lost loved ones in this horrific incident
