Members of Parliament in Kosovo are set to convene today for the constitutive session of the Assembly, scheduled to begin at 17:00, marking the start of the tenth legislature following the completion of the December 28, 2025, general elections.
In the December 28 elections, the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) emerged as the leading political force, securing over 51 percent of the vote and winning 57 out of 120 seats in the Assembly.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) obtained 22 seats, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 15 seats, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) secured 6 seats.
Twenty parliamentary seats are reserved for non-majority communities, including ten seats allocated to the Serb community and ten seats for other communities living in Kosovo.
Among these, the Bosniak community holds three seats, the Turkish community two seats, while the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities each hold one seat, with an additional seat allocated to the community receiving the highest number of votes among these three groups.
Additionally, one seat is reserved for the Gorani community.
