As has become routine, the members of Kosovo’s Assembly are expected to convene again tomorrow for yet another session.

This will mark the 23rd consecutive attempt to elect the Speaker of the Assembly, a position that remains vacant since the February 9 elections.

However, the same political deadlock is likely to unfold again.
The ruling party, Vetëvendosje (VV), continues to insist that MPs vote by secret ballot for their proposed candidate, Albulena Haxhiu.
The opposition, however, is firmly rejecting this voting method.

The session is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.
