Multinational soldiers from the Joint Logistics Support Group (JLSG) and the Kosovo Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN), part of NATO’s KFOR mission, conducted a Mobility Support Exercise at Camp Novo Selo, aimed at enhancing operational readiness and security capabilities.
The exercise focused on coordination with the Mobile Support Detachment (MSD) and the deployment of K9 units for security tasks and explosive detection, carried out under highly realistic training conditions. The primary objective was to strengthen tactical readiness, interoperability, and unit cohesion, thereby reinforcing KFOR’s ability to operate effectively in accordance with its mandate.
Commitment to Mandate and Regional Security
KFOR continues to implement its mandate under United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999), contributing to a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo, while ensuring freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner.
The NATO-led mission operates in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders, further reinforcing stability across the region.
