Kosovo still does not have a final result for the parliamentary elections held on February 9. The counting of votes for parliamentary candidates is ongoing, and so far, several violations have been noted in this process, along with access issues to the CEC’s website, reports Gazeta Sinjali.

In response to this, the Central Election Commission (CEC) held a press conference a few minutes ago to provide the latest updates.

The spokesperson for this institution, Valmir Elezi, stated that for the CEC, speed is not the only priority; accuracy is equally important.

“What matters for the CEC is not just speed, but accuracy as well. Every vote must be recorded accurately, the will of the citizens must be registered, and then the results will be made public. The next phase of the process involves counting the conditional votes, votes from people with special needs, and votes cast outside Kosovo.”

On election day, a quick result was anticipated by the CEC itself, but the opposite occurred, and everything was blocked. As a result, the State Prosecutor has begun taking the necessary actions.
