Police Shoot, Kill Woman Who Stabbed Two in Munich

A 30-year-old woman was shot by police and later died in the hospital after an altercation in Munich. The incident occurred after she had lightly wounded two people with a knife.

The attack began on Westendstraße and continued into Schwanthalerhöhe, where police attempted to apprehend the woman, who was still holding the knife. Following several shots fired near Theresienwiese, she was shot by security forces.

The injured individuals are a 56-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. Police have confirmed there is no ongoing danger to the public, and there was no known connection between the attacker and the victims.

A police cordon has been established in the area, and investigations are ongoing.
