The municipality clarifies that only the sale of animals is allowed at this location; slaughtering or butchering of animals is strictly prohibited.

Dear citizens,
The capital city informs all sellers of sheep, poultry, and other animals that on March 18 and 19, 2026, for the Eid al-Fitr holiday, sales will be allowed only at the new location in the village of Lower Bernicë, in the parking area on “Vëllezërit Fazliu” street (former car market).
At this location, only the sale of animals is permitted; slaughtering or butchering is not allowed under any circumstances.
All sellers are required to maintain cleanliness during their stay and activity, ensuring no trash or waste is left behind.
The Capital Inspectorate will supervise the smooth conduct of this activity. Legal measures will be taken against any sellers found operating outside this designated location, according to applicable legislation.
