Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command in Naples, affirmed NATO’s support for the European Union-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, calling it the only viable path for resolving political issues in the region.

During a meeting in Belgrade with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Admiral Munsch reiterated NATO’s commitment to promoting stability in the Western Balkans and advancing NATO’s longstanding partnership with Serbia. He emphasized that the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia remains crucial for addressing the political challenges for the benefit of all communities in the region.

“The dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, facilitated by the EU, is the only way forward to address political issues for the betterment of all communities,” said Admiral Munsch.

NATO continues to support efforts to ensure long-term peace and cooperation in the region, with the dialogue playing a central role in building trust and finding sustainable solutions.
