Hekuran Murati, who continues to lead Kosovo’s Ministry of Finance, has announced that public servants working in budgetary organizations will receive an additional €55 in their salaries starting this month.
“This month’s increase completes the planned annual raise of €110 for each employee, implemented in two phases of €55 — the first in January 2025 and the second now in July 2025,” Murati explained.
He highlighted that this marks the fourth salary increase for the public sector under his administration, making his government the only one to raise salaries four times within a single mandate.
In a Facebook post, Murati detailed the timeline:
📍 First increase in February 2023 — the Law on Salaries came into effect.
📍 Second increase in January 2024 — the coefficient raised from 105 to 110.
📍 Third increase in January 2025 — an additional €55 per month for all public employees.
📍 Fourth increase in July 2025 — another €55 per month, finalizing the annual raise.
