Acting Finance Minister Hekuran Murati stated on Facebook that Kosovo is one of the safest countries to live in, a fact reflected in the latest report from the Gallup Institute.

In his post, Murati also took a subtle jab at opposition parties, suggesting that they too should celebrate this news.

“Kosovo is among the safest countries to live in, and this is reflected in the latest report from the Gallup Institute. This is news that even the opposition should rejoice in,” Murati wrote.

The political movement Vetëvendosje highlighted that according to Gallup’s “Global Safety 2025” report, Kosovo ranks 1st in Europe and 3rd worldwide on the Rule of Law and Order Index, achieving an impressive 94/100 points.

This recognition underscores Kosovo’s progress in security and governance, presenting a positive image for citizens and investors alike.
