Kosovo Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder and illegal burial of Enver Bajraktari in the village of Baicë, Lipjan.
The arrest was confirmed by Flora Ahmeti, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police in the Prishtina region. The suspect, identified by the initials T.K., is a citizen of Kosovo.
“Following intensive investigative efforts, the General Investigations Unit in Prishtina apprehended the suspect today,” Ahmeti stated. “The arrest relates to the murder case that occurred in Baicë, Lipjan.”
Police investigators are currently conducting further procedures in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office to advance the case.
The body of Enver Bajraktari was discovered buried in a field in Baicë after family members had reported him missing days earlier. The discovery followed an urgent missing person report that led to a thorough investigation.
This case has drawn attention due to the swift police response and ongoing efforts to bring justice for the victim and his family.
