Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Ganimete Musliu has responded to the ongoing political crisis in the country by proposing the creation of an Inter-Party Council as a solution to break the institutional deadlock.
In a Facebook post, she voiced deep concern over the state of the country, blaming acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the political chaos, highlighting a lack of political vision and national consensus.
“Albin’s grudges, combined with the lack of political vision, expose the ugliest consequences of the absence of a national political consensus. The current situation reveals that even in a parliamentary democracy, one person can hold all democratic institutions hostage, plunging Kosovo’s politics into a cycle of populism and improvisation,” Musliu wrote.
She stressed that Kosovo cannot function in such a state, emphasizing:
“In chaos, many things can thrive—but not the citizens.”
