Security expert Agim Musliu has appealed to the international community regarding the Ibar Bridge, stating that opening it would contribute to the country’s multiethnic life.
In a post on X, he remarked that keeping it closed would trap the Serbs in the north in a ghetto.
The director of the “Octopus” Institute draws an analogy with euro banknotes, which, as he notes, feature images of bridges that are open.
Therefore, Musliu asks, “What about the main bridge in Mitrovica, Kosovo?”
“#Bridges were created to represent the images on the back of #euro banknotes. None of them are closed!
@Europarl_EN What about the main bridge in #Mitrovica in #Kosovo?
Opening the bridge would contribute to multiethnic life! Keeping it closed would trap the northern Serbs in a ghetto!” he wrote.
