Security expert Agim Musliu has confirmed that Igor Popoviq publicly admitted guilt for the criminal offense of “incitement of division and intolerance” during an open session monitored by the media.
According to Musliu, Popoviq publicly agreed with his lawyer’s statement and the agreement made with the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo.
He further added that the reaction of the Serbian Ministry of Justice, which claims that the admission was made under pressure, is false and a sign of its inability to interfere in Kosovo’s sovereign decisions.
“Igor Popoviq admitted guilt
During an open session, also monitored by the media, Igor Popoviq publicly agreed with the statement of his legal representative admitting guilt for the criminal offense of ‘incitement of division and intolerance’ and the agreement with the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo. The statement by the Serbian Ministry of Justice claiming that Popoviq’s admission of guilt was made under pressure is both false and a sign of Serbia’s impotence to intervene in the sovereign and democratic decisions of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo,” Musliu wrote.
