An N1 news crew was attacked while filming near the Serbian Parliament and the so-called Ćacilend.

A man, identified as a supporter of President Aleksandar Vučić, approached the team, demanded that they stop filming, and then grabbed their camera, repeatedly throwing it onto the road.

The police, who were nearby at the time, deliberately did not intervene and only responded after someone from the N1 crew directly called upon them.

This incident reflects an ongoing pattern of systematic brutality and unresponsiveness by the police, particularly in cases where the media is prevented from performing their work freely, raising serious concerns about press freedom and safety of journalists in Serbia.
