Arbërie Nagavci, head of the LVV parliamentary group, spoke on T7’s Frontal program following the Constitutional Court’s decision, which granted 34 days to complete the procedure for electing a new president of Kosovo.
Nagavci emphasized that it is time to put aside personal disputes and proceed with the presidential election.
“We now have 34 days to complete the procedure for electing the president. This is a period when all disagreements should be set aside to elect a new president,” she stated.
Nagavci added that there is no need for another round of general elections, as the expected outcome would likely remain the same.
“I believe the country does not need another round of elections, which would be unnecessary and unfair, wasting time especially since the result is expected to be the same. There must be mobilization and commitment from all of us to find a way to reach a consensus and vote for the country’s president,” Nagavci explained.
