“No candidate from VV.”

This was the statement made today by Nait Hasani, Member of Parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), regarding whether he would vote for a candidate proposed by Vetëvendosje (VV) for Speaker of the Assembly.

Hasani, unlike PDK’s official stance—which allows support for any MP who was not part of Kurti’s second government—stressed that he would not vote for any of VV’s 48 deputies.

“As Nait Hasani, I will not vote for any VV deputy because they are violators of the Constitution,” he stated in an interview with T7.

It is recalled that tomorrow at 11:00, the 55th session of the Assembly of Kosovo will be held to constitute the new legislature. This will be the first session following the second ruling of the Constitutional Court, which set a 30-day deadline for constitution and limits each candidate for Speaker to a maximum of three nominations.
