NATO Military Committee Chair Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone commends KFOR for maintaining peace and stability in Kosovo since 1999, highlighting its vital role in regional security.
Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chair of NATO’s Military Committee (CMC), visited Kosovo yesterday alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and a high-level delegation.
In a post on platform X, Dragone praised the unwavering dedication of KFOR personnel, emphasizing their role in preserving peace and stability in Kosovo since 1999.
“Under the current leadership of Enrico Barduani, KFOR ensures a secure environment, fostering a multiethnic and democratic Kosovo,” Dragone stated.
He also expressed special appreciation for NATO’s Liaison and Advisory Team, now led by General Christian Nawrat, for their crucial role in advising and supporting the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) to enhance regional stability.
“We are proud of you! Keep up the outstanding work,” Dragone concluded.
The visit underscores NATO’s continued commitment to Kosovo’s security amid evolving regional challenges.
