NATO’s Deputy Secretary General, Tom Goffus, met with Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani to discuss the November 29 attack on the Ibar-Lepenac Canal, which targeted critical infrastructure in the village of Varagë, near Zubin Potok.
Goffus condemned the attack and emphasized the need for a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident. He stated, “All facts must be verified through a complete and transparent inquiry. KFOR remains vigilant, and coordination with KFOR is crucial for regional stability.”
KFOR has increased its security measures in the area following the attack, underlining the importance of ensuring stability and accountability in the region.
