The Kosovo Assembly has today elected Nenad Rashiq as its fifth Deputy Speaker, representing the Serb community, thereby concluding a prolonged process marked by multiple failed votes for several candidates proposed by the Serbian List.
Rashiq’s election comes after nine rounds of voting, during which various nominees from the Serbian List were rejected by the majority of deputies.
With this development, the Assembly of Kosovo now completes its five-member leadership structure, paving the way for the next stage in the formation of new institutions.
