Kosovo’s Minister for Communities and Return, Nenad Rašić, has accused Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić of exploiting Kosovo Serbs for personal and political interests.
Speaking at a press conference alongside Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Rašić criticized the Serbian government for manipulating the Serbian community in Kosovo.
“A radical and unscrupulous government, filled with liars and manipulators, is using Kosovo Serbs as a management tool, sometimes even as an element of destruction rather than construction,” Rašić stated.
He further claimed that Belgrade does not want Kosovo Serbs to integrate fully or live harmoniously in Kosovo, but rather the opposite.
Rašić, who leads the Progressive Democratic Party, described the situation in Serbia as a reflection of growing public discontent, including among students and ordinary citizens.
“This is a natural sequence of events that will eventually lead to Vučić and his government leaving our lives because they have caused immense harm, especially to the Kosovo Serbs they claim to protect,” Rašić added.
