The Kosovo Assembly’s attempt to elect a Deputy Speaker from the Serbian community faced another setback as Nenad Rašić did not receive sufficient votes in today’s continuation of the session, leaving the legislature only partially constituted.
During the vote, 55 deputies participated, with 1 vote against and 20 abstentions, failing to secure Rašić’s election as Deputy Speaker for the second time.
Following the outcome, the parliamentary session was suspended, prolonging the stalemate in forming the Assembly leadership.
