The greatest invention of the 21st century, the robot, is becoming increasingly accessible—and the latest breakthrough is NEO, a humanoid robot designed to revolutionize everyday home life.
Created by the U.S.-based company 1X, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, NEO is now available for order. Customers can purchase it for $20,000, or try it at home with a monthly subscription of $499.
Weighing only 30 kilograms and standing 1.68 meters tall, NEO can carry loads of up to 25 kilograms. It runs on Nvidia technology, includes a 4-hour battery, fish-eye cameras for wide-angle vision, and built-in microphones and speakers for communication.
Currently, NEO performs basic household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing, but it can also be trained for new skills under supervision by the company’s specialists.
Beyond being a practical helper, NEO also acts as a personal smart assistant—able to locate lost items, suggest recipes, or even teach a new language.
For now, NEO stands as the only humanoid robot commercially available on the market—a glimpse into the future of smart living.
