Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that diplomatic and military pressure compelled Hamas to release hostages held in Gaza.

“In the second phase, Hamas will be disarmed and Gaza will be demilitarized, whether the process is easy or difficult, but it will be achieved,” Netanyahu said.

He also expressed hope for the safe return of all hostages:

“I hope that all hostages held in Gaza will return in the coming days.”

Netanyahu extended his gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for his support:

“Thank you to my dear friend, President Donald Trump, for military support to Israel.”

The statement comes after several days of heightened tensions and negotiations concerning the release of hostages and the ongoing situation in Gaza.
