Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to speak with U.S. President Donald Trump today regarding the recent attack on Iran, an Israeli official has confirmed.

According to CNN, the official stated that Netanyahu would conduct a situation assessment today, though no specific time was provided.

An American official also confirmed that Trump would be speaking with Netanyahu.

On Friday, President Trump declared that Israel’s airstrikes on Iran were “excellent” and warned of more strikes to come, while urging Tehran to reach a nuclear agreement with the U.S.

In a phone interview with ABC News Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl, Trump stated: “I think it was excellent. We gave them an opportunity and they didn’t take it. They were hit hard, very hard. They were hit as hard as they could be hit. And there’s more to come. A lot more.

When asked if the United States had any role in the Israeli attack, Trump responded: “I don’t want to comment on that.”
