Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a recorded video statement, described this evening as “a night of tears and joy,” emphasizing the importance of national unity following what he called a “historic event.”

Netanyahu spoke about Israel’s recent achievements, calling them “spectacular victories that have shaken the entire world.”

“This is a historic event — one that some never believed would happen. I know there are many debates among us, but today, and I hope in the period ahead, we have every reason to set those aside. Through our shared strength, we have achieved a spectacular victory,” said the Israeli leader.

However, Netanyahu warned that the military campaign is not over and that Israel still faces major security challenges in the near future.

“Some of our enemies are trying to recover and prepare to attack us again,” he said, vowing that Israel is ready to confront any threats.

“We are in full control of the situation,” he declared, adding that the recent victories have opened major opportunities for Israel.

“By working together, we will overcome challenges and seize these opportunities,” he continued, stressing the need for cooperation and national unity.

In his address, Netanyahu also recalled his promises to the families of hostages and expressed gratitude to the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and to the families of the fallen.

“Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new path — a path of rebuilding, a path of healing, and, I hope, a path of unity,” Netanyahu concluded.
