Aleksander Vlajić was arrested recently under the order of the Kosovo Special Prosecutor’s Office. He is suspected of espionage against the Republic of Kosovo by providing information to the BIA.
The Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI) tracked him down after extensive investigations, revealing that he had established a spy network in Kosovo. His recruits were mainly Serbian citizens working in international organizations in Kosovo, as reported by Dukagjini.
Vlajić maintained regular contact with the head of the BIA center in Novi Pazar, Ratko Gajtanović, continuously informing him about security developments in northern Kosovo.
Additionally, the AKI discovered that Vlajić had disclosed the name of an AKI official to the BIA. He learned this information during his tenure as a Kosovo Police officer. Vlajić was subsequently dismissed from the Kosovo Police. More information related to this case will be published by the media.
