New November and April Exam Deadlines Approved at the University of Prishtina

The Student Parliament, in cooperation with the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina, has reached an agreement that introduces significant changes benefiting UP students. Following a formal request from the Student Parliament, the University has approved a two-year transitional phase for the re-evaluation exam periods held in November and April. Once ratified by the University Senate, these exam windows will be applied across all academic units during the transition period.

According to the announcement, this decision aims to ensure equal access and fairness for all students, regardless of their faculty or field of study. The Student Parliament emphasized that the harmonization of exam opportunities is essential for maintaining academic standards and supporting students’ progress.

The Parliament expressed its gratitude to the Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, as well as Pro-Rectors Adem Beha and Majlinda Zhitija Gjelaj, for their cooperation and continued support of student-led initiatives. Special thanks were also extended to all student organizations that contributed to achieving this outcome.

The Student Parliament reaffirmed its commitment to remain a strong voice for the needs and rights of all UP students, ensuring that no group is left behind.
