Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill has revealed new details about the recent attack in New Orleans, suggesting that multiple individuals may have been involved. Speaking to NBC News, Murrill stated, “I can say with some certainty that there are many people involved.”

Earlier reports indicated that investigators believe the primary suspect in the New Orleans attack, which left 15 dead and 35 injured, was not acting alone, according to the BBC.

Authorities suspect that explosive devices linked to the incident were manufactured in an Airbnb rented by individuals involved in the attack. However, no additional arrests have been made.

Sugar Bowl Delayed Amid Security Concerns

In light of the ongoing investigation, Murrill has proposed postponing the Sugar Bowl further. The annual college football game, originally scheduled for Wednesday night, has already been delayed to Thursday. Murrill suggested pushing the event to Friday for heightened safety measures.

The attack has prompted heightened security measures across New Orleans as officials work to identify and apprehend all parties involved.
