The Speaker of the Parliament of Albania, Niko Peleshi, is set to hold a series of high-level meetings during his official visit to Kosovo today, signaling continued political coordination between the two neighboring countries.
According to official information, Peleshi will first meet the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting is expected to focus on parliamentary cooperation and current political developments between Kosovo and Albania.
Beyond the parliamentary talks, the Albanian parliamentary leader will also meet with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at 11:15 a.m., followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti at 11:50 a.m. at the Government of Kosovo. These discussions are expected to address bilateral relations, regional developments, and cooperation between the two governments.
The visit comes just days after a recent trip to Kosovo by Elisa Spiropali, who visited the country in her previous capacity as Albania’s Minister for Foreign Affairs. Observers see the sequence of visits as a sign of intensified political engagement between Tirana and Prishtina.
Officials have indicated that the meetings aim to strengthen institutional collaboration and further deepen ties between Kosovo and Albania, particularly at a time of important political discussions and regional developments.
