Nine deputies from the Serbian List have failed to secure the necessary support to be elected as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly from the Serbian community.
The most recent vote, held three times consecutively, involved deputy Igor Simiq, who also did not receive enough backing.
Prior to him, the following Serbian List deputies were also unsuccessful: Slavko Simiq, Zlatan Elek, Liljana Stevanoviq, Verica Ceraniq, Miljana Nikoliq, Branislav Nikoliq, Stefan Kovaçeviq, and Sërxhan Popoviq.
This marks yet another round of failed attempts by the Serbian List to secure the constitutionally guaranteed Deputy Speaker position for their community.
