NISMA MP Xhevahire Izmaku has clarified her party’s stance in ongoing negotiations with Vetëvendosje (LVV), specifically regarding discussions between party leader Fatmir Limaj and LVV leader Albin Kurti.
Speaking to T7, Izmaku stated that NISMA’s sole request in the talks is to contribute to the functioning of the Assembly of Kosovo by having Fatmir Limaj elected as Speaker.
“The only way out of the political deadlock is for Mr. Limaj to be elected Speaker of the Assembly,” she emphasized.
She underlined that no other conditions or elements are part of NISMA’s proposal. “This is the best possible opportunity to overcome the political impasse. There is absolutely no other element involved,” Izmaku concluded.
